King’s Reach Woodlands is a unique outdoor learning environment where students thrive through hands‑on experiences, conservation work, and purposeful activities that build resilience, independence, and life skills.
Whether learners are working towards Functional Skills, Entry Level or Level 1 Conservation, completing AQA Unit Awards, taking part in Forest School sessions, or developing personal and social skills through our Future Me ethos, every pathway is designed to help them grow into capable, confident young adults.
All sessions are supervised by our wonderful team, who bring a wealth of experience, passion, and specialist knowledge to every day in the woods. Our staff are highly skilled, with many years of working alongside young people with SEMH and SEND needs. They create a calm, safe, and nurturing environment where learners feel supported to take risks, try new things, and grow in confidence.
From Forest School trained practitioners to conservation specialists, teachers, and dedicated support staff, every member of the team plays a vital role. Their patience, emotional resilience, and commitment to unconditional positive regard ensure that each young person is met with understanding, encouragement, and belief in their potential.

Every booking supports our work with young people across Kent. All income goes straight back into the woodland, helping us keep it safe, well-equipped, and welcoming for everyone. From fire lighting to quiet reflection, your visit helps us offer life-changing experiences to those who need them most.
