Our Ethos
At King’s Reach, our work is rooted in Christian values that guide how we treat others and how we serve our community. Inspired by the teachings and example of Jesus, we aim to create an environment built on love, patience, kindness, and integrity.
As a trauma-informed registered school, we recognise the impact of past experiences on each young person and adapt our approach to meet their emotional, social, and practical needs with understanding and care. We live out our values through what the Bible calls the “fruit of the Spirit”—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
These qualities shape how we support young people, work with families, and build partnerships with other professionals. We believe in speaking truth with compassion, building trust through honesty, and always aim to do what’s right. Our Christian and trauma-informed ethos inspires us to work with humility and purpose, supporting young people as they grow into confident, capable individuals, free to step into the future with courage and hope.
